Today we suffered through the heat in class all day. Someone get some air conditioning over here stat! For dinner, our Professor took us all out to eat Italian at Zizzi?s. Most of our class then headed over to the Duke of York for some drinks and relaxing. They kept the bar open a couple hours later than it legally should have been. I think the bartenders are going to miss our class when we leave (I?m sure they have made quite a bit of money off of us).
British word of the day:
Mind ? meaning ?look out for? or ?watch out for?. Example: ?Mind the gap?. They use this a lot on the Underground. It really is a lot faster than saying ?Please watch out for the gap?. If you are in a situation where you have to tell someone to watch out for a large gap, it is best to say it as quick as possible before they fall in.
