We managed to force ourselves out of bed and onto the Metro headed for Notre Dame. It was hard to stay awake during Mass because it was said in French, but we managed to. After Mass we finished up souvenir shopping and decided to walk up the Seine to Madeleine to shop some more. We figured out that most stores are closed on Sunday, so we continued to walk all the way up to our hotel to get our bags (a long walk). We made it safely to the train station and back to London without a problem.
Paris was a beautiful city and I think the people here were the friendliest of anywhere I have been. I would recommend it to anyone! I only wish I could have seen more of the country, but I have to leave something for next time!
