Since it was Sunday, Teresa, Matt, and I went to Mass at Westminster Cathedral. The music is always so beautiful at these giant, old cathedrals. You can almost hear choirs from hundreds of years ago echoing from the rafters. Following church, we went to the Tower of London where our tour guide vividly described the various beheadings that took place there. I think Teresa and I preferred looking at the Crown Jewels over the torture devices. We then walked along the Tower Bridge and finished the evening with dinner in Leicester Square (and then of course Pimms at the Duke of York). We said goodbye to Matt until we meet him again next weekend in Ireland. Tomorrow we leave for Derbyshire for clinicals, so I am off to bed. Goodnight!
British word of the day:
To Let ? meaning ?for rent?. Example: ?One room apartment to let?. It makes me want to ask ?to let me what?? but I?m pretty sure the only thing they are ?letting? you do is rent.
