On our way back home, we took a detour to a hiking trail through the woods at Shawnee Overlook. We are working with Jonas since he always wants Chris to carry him, but he did get a few steps in. The highlight of the trail is a scenic overlook of the woods and river. We ended our hike with a picnic before heading home.
