Since church (and the world) is closed, we attended 9:30am Mass in our living room while live streaming it. Mass at home is helpful in that I can put Levi down for a nap and let him roll around on the floor.
Prior to Mass, Chris hid 14 eggs per kid in the yard. We didn't even have eggs so we borrowed some from Chris' sister. We didn't have candy, either, so I made several "coupons" for things the kids like to do. We repurposed some old candy and some quarters to fill the rest. The egg hunt was really fun and something we'll probably continue.
The rest of the day was pretty relaxing with burgers for dinner, watching Onward, eating ice cream, and playing a board game.
for Holy Thursday, we washed each other's feet (a new tradition) just like Jesus. Camden happened to have carved a soap into a fish shape for cub scouts, so we used that.

Mass
a couple days before Easter, our parish reached out to families to send in a family photo. They then took all the photos and placed them in the pews (many in their normal "spots") to represent their attendance. The IndyStar had a little article.
kids all wanted to use there "cup of soda" coupon for lunch
Chris explaining the theory of relativity...very Eastery
In many ways this Easter was all that it should be...quiet, simple, easy, with time for prayer and family.
