Pumpkin Patch

Every year, we have some friends over for a scary movie night. This year we watched "Get Out" which we all enjoyed. The next morning we were ready to take the kids to a pumpkin patch. Our usual patch, Stoney creek Farms, was closed this year which was disappointing so we had to go in another direction.

We decided to try Spencer Farms which is just north of our house. They didn't charge an entrance fee nor did they have any kid activities, but they offered a free hayride to the pumpkin patch, which was very nice. The pumpkin harvest was great and we picked a nice big pumpkin for carving. After the patch, I wanted to go to the "dig your own mum" section where we all dug up mums. The kids enjoyed digging! We then got a snack and took our friends to the playground near our house, Inlow.
