This was our first year checking out the Headless Horseman events at Conner Prairie and it was really fun! We actually went twice, enjoying a few events/shows with each visit. The main attraction is the Headless Horseman hayride which the kids have been talking about everyday (basically a semi-spooky hayride through Conner Prairie including an encounter with a headless man riding a horse). Savannah said it was too scary when it was over, but she enjoys pretending to be the headless horseman and hasn't had any trouble sleeping. They're both really into the Halloween creatures (ghosts, Frankenstein, etc) and have really embraced the Halloween spirit.
the Headless Horseman marionette show, very silly!
We also went to Stoneycreek Farms for their activities. It was a warm day and the crowds were low. We were joined by some friends, too.

We checked out Boo n' Brew at Clay Terrace. It was a very popular event, so we trick-or-treated only a little and spent most of the time watching the funny Silly Safaris animal show.
The highlight for Camden was when a real police officer came up to him. The officer showed him the various items on his belt and then invited us to check out his police car and gadgets. Camden kept saying "I have one more question". So nice!
