Great Wolf Lodge

Our fall break trip to Gatlinburg was rescheduled to the summer due to Chris' dad's recovery, so we spent a couple relaxing days with Chris' family on the weekend and scheduled a two-night trip back to Great Wolf Lodge for the kids. This was Savannah's first "fun" time since she was only 3 months old the first time we went and she had a fever the whole time earlier this year. It was also decorated for Halloween with some Halloween activities scheduled.

We swam the afternoon we arrived, then again the next morning and that afternoon. Savannah tried and enjoyed all of the slides in the little kid area, but she preferred swimming/floating around.

Camden enjoyed all the little slides also, as well as the two bigger kid ones. He also tried a big slide with Chris but said it was a bit too fast.

the wave pool

both kids did the lily pad jump but I only was able to photograph Savannah

more wave pool

The kids dressed in their costumes and got to trick or treat at about six different locations in the hotel. It was pretty crowded, but they had been asking to wear their costumes for weeks and they were really excited to get Halloween Peeps candy

super funny bath time

both nights we went to the Clock Tower bedtime show

with the whale and the wolf they won at at the arcade

Camden's favorite: wave pool
Savanah's favorite: watching the big bucket dump
Chris' favorite: the waterside ride with Camden
Stephanie's favorite: lazy river (minus the dumping buckets at the beginning)
