Hong Kong

I had a dream last night that I went to the Great Wall of China for the weekend. I don't know why I would go half-way around the world for the weekend, so I guess it turned out fine that I didn't actually go in real life. It did remind me of some photos I took in Hong Kong, though. I edited a few of them.

These were taken on Lantau Island. The "worlds largest copper outdoor sitting Buddha", the Tian Tan Buddha, is located here. It is part of the Po Ling monestary and is a 268 stair climb to the base of the statue.

This photo is from Llamma Island. It was a beautiful place to hike. The locals set up seafood restaurants near the ferry dock for hungry visitors.

We took a tram to the top of Victoria Peak above Hong Kong. It was an awesome view of the city. The walk down was not quite as awesome.

The streets of Hong Kong and Kowloon.
