Today Chris and I spent the day around the resort (since we are on vacation). We decided to visit the breakfast buffet which was massive. They had every type of meat, cheese, fruit, bread, and drink we could imagine. Our favorite was the fresh fruit smoothies that were made-to-order. The fruit in Costa Rica is much sweeter than that which we get in the United States since it does not have to be imported from a long distance.
Following a very filling breakfast, we decided to visit the vendors who sell their goods along the beach.
We wandered back to the Royal Service pool and visited the swim up bar (Chris’ favorite part of the resort). The bartenders were very good at keeping the drinks flowing. It seems that nearly everyone we meet here their honeymoon, too, so we have been in good company.
After relaxing on the lounge chairs, it was time for the Colts versus Saints game. Chris nearly had an aneurysm when we couldn’t find it on TV, but luckily (after some serious channel surfing) we were able to find it. A Colts victory was a pleasant end to a relaxing day.
Did you know that people die every year from coconuts hitting them on the head?
