Valentine's Day

For Valentine's day we kept it pretty simple. We made reservations at Dairy Queen for their "formal" night (basically dinner reservations with a flower and table cloth on the table...same food). DQ also offered short party bus rides. We rode through Clay Terrace Mall. Camden kept saying how awesome the sights were...I reminded him this is the mall 15 minutes from our house!

I also enjoyed reading these sweet notes the kids wrote to each other in Camden's class the weeks prior to Valentine's Day.

One day, he came home with these two notes. One is very poetic while the other more...direct.

"Thank you for giving me the card. Our hearts will fill with joy, from yours to mine so thank you for the card"

"You are on the bus today"

Camden's Valentine to our family (which he cut into quadrants for each person).

And lastly, in religious ed class Camden wrote us all another valentine. My favorite part is the bottom where he wrote "Savannah, this is a butt" and drew a butt. Lately she cracks up everytime someone (mostly Camden) talks about "butts" so he did that to make her laugh. In fact, she laughs every time she hears the word "Butler". We normally try to reign in the potty talk, but sometimes it is funny!
