winter events

Here are some photos from our winter this far.

we caught a few mice on our back porch this winter. I hired some guards to watch it until I could go set it free

We tried out karate over the summer and decided to pick it up again this winter since things are slower for us. The three older kids are all in the same class. They finished white belt and tested into yellow belt. We will probably be done with karate due to our schedule picking up, but it's been fun!

Camden has been in a breakfast cooking class that has been great. He woke up early to make us pancakes  and syrup from scratch.

We took our cat lovers to a cat cafe (Cam dealt with a bout of Salmonella at the start of the year and was sick this day). So fun to pet all the kitties!

skiing in Michigan and Cincinnati

Chris, Cam, and Savannah went with the Boy Scouts to ski in Cadilac, Michigan for the weekend. I took Jonas and Levi (and my mom joined us) to Cincinatti.

Chris drove several kids 5 hours in some snowy weather, but they had a great time! Camden and Chris both organized the trip for the scouts and Camden even made a Jeopardy game with prizes for after dinner.

It was Savannah's first time skiing and she did great!

Back at home we enjoyed finally having some snow to play in.

The next day, we drove to Cincinatti to go to the muesum center. Then we went swimming at a hotel, went to dinner, and spent the night. The next day we went to Newport Aquarium before heading home.

Jonas' 7th birthday

Jonas didn't want a party this year for his birthday. Instead we went out to dinner for sushi at Kona Grill and to a magician/comic at the library. The next day, we went to Great Wolf Lodge with

ice cream cake

Jonas volunteered his dad to be in the show

My phone has unexpectedly stopped working twice at GWL so I try not to take photos in the waterpark anymore.

We all were recovering from colds so I upgraded to the Kid Camp suite so every kid had their own bed.
